I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOU MEAN BY TAPE LINES .IF IT IS RESIDUE
ADHESIVE THEN BLAZE GAVE YOU THE BEST ANSWER BUT ON BLACK CARS IN
PARTICULAR EVEN AFTER ALL ADHESIVE IS REMOVED YOU CAN SOMETIMES STILL SEE
WHERE THE STRIPES WERE. IF THAT'S THE CASE YOU CAN USE 2000 GRIT WET/DRY
PAPER WITH WATER AND SAND THE LINES OUT AND THEN BUFF THE SANDED
AREA.DON'T GET REAL AGGRESSIVE WITH THE SANDING ,BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO
SAND THUR THE CLEAR.
Tape lines as in pinstripe tape? A hair dryer will warm them up
enough to peel them off. Then a rag damp with lacquer thinner will take the
glue off.
Some mouth breather will answer after me an say lacquer thinner will ruin
the paint. As long as it is factory paint or real automotive paint that
was applied correctly ( not spray paint in other words ) it will not hurt
the paint. Been doing it for 20 years! Read my source
try some wd40 on a soft cloth unless its just some kinda super
dooper glue wd 40 should remove it and not hurt your paint if it works
wash and wax good luck
